This weekend was great! My younger brother Nate, his wife Katie and his two (and a half) kids Ellie and Sophie came up from Tremonton. They came over on Friday, stayed overnight and we all went to hogle zoo the next morning for Ellies birthday on Monday.
What a great time! We just love spending time with family. Nate and Katies little girls are so fun. They love to chase after the "puppy". They also play like they are puppies. they get down on their hands and knees and act as though they are dogs just like her - barking and everything.
Nate and Ken stayed up late playing video games while Katie and I chatted about her pregnancy, preschool, and everything under the sun. I enjoyed chatting with you Katie! Thanks for being so open.
Ellie rode in the car with us to Hogle zoo. She was so excited! She kept asking, where is it? Are we there yet? Uncle Ken was a meany head. He kept telling her that we weren't going to make it. Instead we were going to go golfing or yard selling or... until she almost started to cry. Poor girl. We made it though and what a fun time!
I cannot count how many times I have been to the zoo. Every time, is see something new. Did you know there is actually an animal called a peccary?? Maybe our niece Shelby knew what she was doing when she named her Penguin Peckery.
We had a great time with Nate's cute family. Thank you guys for suggesting we do this. 
HOW FUN!! I need to get Shelby up to the zoo, STAT! And, Ken. What are we gonna do with him? He has always been a teaser. If Ellie is anything like Shelby, she will remember his teasing for the rest of her life! I'm glad you guys had such fun. It looks like it was beautiful weather. And, Shelby must've been onto something with Peckery. Hee Hee. Maybe I've been spelling his name wrong all these years!
