Easter weekend!

I am learning to let go of the "supposed to's". Kollins first Christmas was supposed to be... kollins first Easter was supposed to be... I am beginning to just let go and let it be what it is, no expectations. What a wonderful weekend it was!!!

First we went to Tremonton for an Easter Egg Hunt. My Grandparents have done an Easter hunter since I was little. It is amazing that it has lasted this long. There is a hunt for the itty bitty ones, one for the older ones, and a scavenger hunt for the even older ones. We all get together and eat and play for a few hours. My Grandpa built the park you see above. It is really cool!

This is the first year we have been to the hunt since I was a teenager. It was wonderful to take Kollin and see him in awe of everything. He even got to spend a little time with his Great Grandpa.
Sunday we woke up and had a little hunt with him at the House. Ken's parents (Grandma Chris and Pop) joined us for the shortest hunt ever. Kollin went right for the basket and ignored all the eggs in front of him. It was so cute!! He will be a better hunter next year (maybe).
Last but not least, we had all of Ken's siblings over for brunch. Everyone was willing to make the trek out on short notice. Kollin loved playing with all of his cousins and Aunts and Uncles. It was a great weekend. Happy Easter Kollin Bear!!
